On April 21, 2025, President School held a meaningful Kartini Day Ceremony at the SMP President Field, bringing together students from TK President, SD President, and SMP President to commemorate the legacy of Raden Ajeng Kartini — a national heroine who paved the way for women’s rights in Indonesia.
The morning ceremony was led by Ms. Rismauli Saragi, a respected teacher from SMP President, who served as the Ceremony Commander. With the theme “Kartini: A Woman Who Fought for Freedom in Education and the Workplace,” the event highlighted Kartini’s unwavering vision of equality and her dream of providing Indonesian women with access to quality education and professional opportunities.
Adding a vibrant and patriotic touch to the event, the SD President Marching Band opened the ceremony with a spectacular performance. Their music accompanied the flag-raising and set an inspiring tone for the day’s activities.
This unified celebration across all school levels emphasized President School’s commitment to character building, gender equality, and holistic education. Students not only paid tribute to a national icon but also learned valuable lessons about independence, perseverance, and the importance of education for all.
The Kartini Day celebration at President School is a reflection of our mission to nurture future leaders who are not only intelligent and skilled but also carry forward the spirit of unity, respect, and equality.
